Senior Sector Specialist, IT & MIS, BRAC Education Programme

Job Description / Responsibility
  • Prepare work plan, resource plan as per requirements of BEP ICT related financial initiatives and ensure smooth in-time implementation
  • Prepare system reports, presentations, papers, proposal, project document, budget etc. as per requirement
  • Closely follow-up, visit field, analyse situations and provide timely, effective and practical decisions for implementing of Computer Aided Learning (CAL) programme
  • Identify and implement activities to make BRAC open source learning website most useful for beneficiaries. Coordinate all the activities of CAL website design, development and upload content
  • Proceed initiatives and coordinate with subject teams, content coordinators, script writers and animation team for completion of script development processes and content animation in time as per approved plan and requirements
  • Maintain liaison with other units/ departments/ organisations/ ministries related to CAL activities
  • Represent BRAC in different ICT in education related internal and external meetings, forums and workshops
  • Job Location: BRAC Head Office
Job Nature

Educational Requirements
    B.Sc / Masters in CSE/ MIS from any reputed university with minimum two first class/ division/ CGPA in all academic examination. No 3rd division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA is acceptable
Experience Requirements
  • At least 4 year(s)
Additional Job Requirements
  • Age At most 35 year(s)
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience is required
  • Have knowledge on interactive multimedia content, Pedagogy, MIS and financial inclusion services
  • Have excellent skills on communication, interpersonal, programme operations and team building
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills; ability to interpret, analyse, and represent educational development issues across a variety of contexts to a diverse set of stakeholders including policy makers, implementation agencies and donors
  • Has generally effective command of English language and can use and understand fairly complex language, particularly in familiar situation
